Wow! It has been an incredible, busy, beautiful last couple of days here in New York City. After arriving on Saturday, we had the unique opportunity to visit a local church (Trinity Grace Church Tribeca) on Sunday and to explore the city, seeing sites like the World Trade Center Memorial, Grand Central Station, Times Square, and more! In the afternoon, we were able to lead a concert at Union Square for those traveling by, and everyone did so well. Many stopped along their way and were able to talk to the leaders about our ministry as the students sang— God was certainly working then and has made it so abundantly clear that His hand has been guiding us throughout this trip. After a fun day of exploring, worshipping with fellow believers, and praising the Lord out at Union Square, we got to come back to the dorm for a fun night of games, family group time, and a delicious chicken dinner. On Monday, we kicked off the day with a devotional about love (Matthew 22:34-40) and had our first day at ministry sites! We served at several locations and were blessed at each of them. Be sure to ask the students how they were able to see God move both in and through them during these experiences— we are only one day in, and we already have some truly incredible stories! As we continue in our week, we ask for prayers for boldness, courage, safety, strength, and love for our students. This week presents infinite opportunities to love and serve God and our neighbors, so we greatly appreciate your prayers as we seek to make a positive impact for His Kingdom this week. Thank you so much for all of your love, support, and prayers!
